Organization :

Depends on Highway Manager reporting to Solution Delivery Manager  

Purpose of the function :

Support the design of solutions and monitor the functioning of the team under his responsibility in order to guarantee the management, the continuous evolution and the improvement of the assigned domain as well as the satisfaction of internal and external customers.

Respect the IT strategy in the context of projects and maintenance in its field of activity.     

Support the Highway Manager in developing the budget for the assigned area.  

Follow the approved budget of its projects and its maintenance.     

Advises the business on the definition of its needs and helps it to formulate its request concerning the applications in charge thanks to its expertise and experience in the field.  

Participates in the identification of optimal solutions that meet the needs of the Business and its constraints (timing, budget, etc.), in particular by activating the network of external partners.     

Responsible for functional and technical analysis.  

Participate in team estimates and needs (man/day or capacity and budget) to complete proposed requests and projects.  

Participate in the drafting of offers.     

Project involvement:  

Plan and monitor the progress of its projects and maintenance in order to achieve the predefined objectives. 

Coordinate the projects entrusted to it in its different phases (start-up, design, testing, implementation, evaluation, transmission of the project, etc.) 

Report the difficulties encountered (lack of resources, blockages, overlap, collaboration difficulties, technical/IT problems, etc.) as well as differences in scope, cost, timing to management while providing proposed solutions, as well as ensuring optimal communication with his hierarchy as well as with the parties involved (internally and externally) and with the authorities concerned (eg IT Boards) in the various projects and requests. 

Ensure the updating of project and maintenance documentation and ensure the transition after deployments and implementations (hand over).    

Ensure, in collaboration with the persons responsible, that users accept the new tools, procedures and software implemented.  

Ensure that all Business requests are known to its Highway Manager and prioritized by the Product Owner.  

Act as a technical-functional expert within the assigned IT domain, study trends and developments in the market and solve complex problems in order to make optimal use of the knowledge acquired.  

Analyze and advise in case of questions, problems and critical incidents but also coordinate technical solutions in order to guarantee the optimal functioning of the department and the IT solutions developed.  

Promote the simplification and improvement of complex processes related to its field and document them.  

Provide last-level helpdesk support (analysis of functional problems, implementation of lasting solutions and possible collection of change requests through this channel).  

Follow up on contacts with suppliers, evaluate the services delivered and contribute to the selection of new suppliers in order to guarantee the quality and continuity of service.  

Analyze and challenge the quotes/estimates made by our external service providers.  

Control and challenge the quality of work.  

Manage and coordinate teams of internal collaborators and external service providers.  

Participate in the selection of its internal and external collaborators (eg project team).     

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:    

Level of knowledge Master's degree or equivalent by experience 

SalesForce Certification is an asset  

Extensive professional experience (min 3 years)  

In-depth knowledge of specific applications - ability to quickly learn and master new applications and technologies  

Knowledge in project management  

Affinities with data  Knowledge of the organization's internal (work) structure and procedures and operational flows

Solution oriented, good analytical skills, critical thinking and logic  

Has a good team spirit  

Communication, assertiveness, position taking  

Very good knowledge of French and Dutch (oral and written) and good knowledge of English (oral and written)
