Data Analyst/Scientist

We are hiring a Data Analyst/Scientist, reporting into the Head of Client and Transaction Data Analytics,

The role

Developing and maintaining business knowledge of organization's data with the highest value to customers, participants, and stakeholders part of the ecosystem. Developing and maintaining the knowledge of the list of these data, their master sources, their key present usages, their owners and their quality.

Being able to query, extract and combine any client and transaction data, as well as being able to aggregate, segment and visualize the data with the appropriate (big) data platforms and tools.

Supporting the design, testing, development of “Minimum Viable Products” or “Proofs of Concept” of new (or upgrades of existing) data products and services towards organization's clients. Gathering required data, its analysis and transformations; building mock-ups and first versions for client or internal demo or proofs of value. (Automation and transfer into production of the developments being handled by the company's IT teams.)

The profile

You have a passion for data and its added value for the company's clients and teams/management within the organization. In particular you have a passion to build and expand knowledge of company's data.

You are familiar with modern data analytics tools and platforms.

You have a strong bias towards practical solutions and apply a pragmatic approach to deliver results at a steady pace.

You are a strong problem solver, able to work independently whilst being a team player. You demonstrate strong analytical skills (e.g. breaking up & structuring complex problems into manageable pieces).

• Advanced knowledge of SQL, able to write and understand complex queries
• Programming: Python, (Py)Spark, Visual Studio in combination with Hue editor and Jupyter Notebook => available in the Data Analytics Lab 
• Eagerness to continuously develop your data analytics skills through self-learning (Datacamp, EDX)
• Knowledge of Power BI as developer is an asset
