Database Administrator - Hartje Antwerpen

We are looking for a Junior Database Administrator who will temporarily support our IT Team. In this role you report to the IT Teamlead. 

Your duties; 

• You are responsible for setting up and maintaining automatic data flows 
• You set up file transfers, data cleanings and data conversions 
• You are deployed for data preparation for use in various applications 
• You will detect and solve performance bottlenecks and database errors 
• You support your colleagues in the other teams and departments 
• You take the initiative to propose new technologies and optimizations 
• You will be deployed in an Agile working environment

Your profile

• You have a Bachelor education level or equivalent in experience 
• You have a good knowledge of SQL 
• Knowledge of reporting environments such as PowerBi is a big plus 
• You have knowledge of data modeling 
• You have knowledge of OO principles 
• You are analytical and easily find the cause of a problem 
• You have strong communication skills 
• You can bring structure to chaos 
• You are able to follow procedures step by step, check results and communicate progress clearly 
• You show efficiency in your work. You are responsible, and you work in a structured manner 
• You have an eye for an accurate approach and put the quality of your work first
• You are curious, like to work in a team and like to share your knowledge
